2015 Pacrim Invitational Raises $30,000 for Give Kids The World Village for a Grand Three Year Total of $74,500

On Wednesday, July 29th the 14th Annual Pacrim Invitational Golf Tournament (www.pacriminvitational.com) started with a reception at Best Western PLUS Chocolate Lake Hotel. Glenn Squires, President & CEO of Pacrim Hospitality Services Inc. welcomed the participants and thanked all of the sponsors and donors for their support of the tournament.
About The Pacrim Invitational
In 2002 Pacrim founded the Pacrim Invitational golf tournament. Pacrim had two primary objectives in mind when organizing this tournament - to provide a casual business setting for our head office and regional management staff to meet our investors, potential investors, partners and major suppliers and to give back to our community with proceeds from a live and silent auction.
Live & Silent Auction Proceeds
Pacrim set-up a scholarship and awards fund for the students of Mount Saint Vincent University’s Tourism and Hospitality Management Department in 2002. From 2002-2013, the Pacrim Invitational auction net proceeds provided over $400,000 to this fund.
Pacrim continues to support Mount Saint Vincent University in other ways but starting in 2013, the proceeds from the Pacrim Invitational auction have been given to Give Kids the World (www.givekidstheworld.org). Give Kids The World is a non-profit organization that exists only to fulfill the wishes of all children with life-threatening illnesses and their families from around the world to experience a memorable, joyful, cost-free visit to the Central Florida attractions, and to enjoy the magic of Give Kids The World Village for as long as there is a need. To date, the Pacrim Invitational auction has donated $74,500 to Give Kids the World.
